Film Synopsis

Follow the journey of Polish artist and wartime refugee Josef Herman as he finds himself fleeing Nazi persecution in Warsaw to his Cynefin in Ystradgynlais in South Wales.

This project was delivered by Winding Snake with Caroline Lane and Amel Sherif at The Welfare in Ystradgynlais. As part of the project Cynefin was one of two films made with young people at Maesydderwen Comprehensive School and Syrian families who had recently arrived in Powys.
